We weren't looking for a dog. Seriously. It's been 2 years without a dog & we were quite happy with just the cat. But one day, Penny found us. She was a foster dog that a friend would have over to her house to play with her girls. I had heard how great this dog was, but it wasn't until I stopped by one day and saw the way Connor interacted with her that I knew, we were getting a dog. Connor really doesn't pay much attention to animals, but this dog, he was interested in. I watched as he ran and laughed as the dog chased along with him, not jumping or barking, just running. Then I saw him pick up a toy to throw for the dog. That was it, we needed this dog...
She's been the best dog, I still have yet to hear her bark, and the kids absolutely adore her. Already she's being spoiled by Ron, who admits he didn't think we'd have another dog either. But she seems to be the perfect dog for us, and we're happy to spoil her....
