Once again we made the trek up to Maryland after Christmas to celebrate with the Brunstroms & Levins. Between our Christmas Eve celebration, our family Christmas & then more fun in Maryland, it's like 3 Christmases! What a fabulous week we had, filled with trips to the Smithsonian, Aquarium & Birthdays. That's a full plate for the Howrigons! The boys LOVED the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History, with the giant mammoth, whales & even a squid. We then walked over to see the display of all 50 state's Christmas trees. Connor was very sad to leave, he kept asking to go back to the 'building with the earth.'

Then it was off to the Aquarium for the dolphin show. I was amazed how well Connor handled things. It's very overwhelming for an autistic child to deal with all of the noises & crowds that you find in museums & the aquarium. It was a bit more crowded than we expected, but the kids did great! Here they are watching the show with Grandma..
Connor decided the best place to be was the last row...

Reagan could hardly stand it every time the dolphins would do a trick. She just giggled the entire time!
And here's Brenden chees-ing up to Grandma...
