Why do We Walk?

We walk for every parent who has heard the words, "your child has autism". For the those who await those words, and for their children who were never given a choice... We will continue to walk until "those words" are no longer said. Together, we will make a difference and take steps towards a brighter future.

It was 2 years ago that we participated in the Cure Autism Now Walk in Washington DC to raise money for Autism research. This year, my sister & her family have decided to walk again & even though we cannot be there with them, we will be there in spirit! Autism Speaks has combined with Cure Autism Now to run the event, and they are a fantastic organization that provides education, funding for research & awareness to the community. If you'd like to get involved, check them out at http://www.autismspeaks.org/ or feel free to make a donation to our team, 'Connor's Friends & Family' - http://www.walknowforautism.org/c.otJUJ3MPIuE/b.3621223/siteapps/personalpage/ShowPage.aspx?c=otJUJ3MPIuE&b=3621185&sid=4dIDKNPlG7LHJSOrGmH
Thanks again to all those who continue to support us!
